An employee is leaving, will we receive a credit note?

No. Payflip operates on a seat-based system: you pay for a fixed number of seats, not for specific individuals.

When an employee leaves, their account is deactivated and the seat becomes available as an empty account. When you add a new employee, they take over the available seat. The seat only becomes active once the new employee receives a top-up budget in Payflip.

Employee on long-term sick leave or extended absence

Set the top-up budget to €0 for as long as the employee is not working. The account is kept. When the employee returns, reactivate the budget and they can pick up where they left off.

💡 No credit note is issued for the period of absence.
