Pro rata invoices: adding an employee or module

Payflip bills licences once a year. If you add a new employee or an extra module during the year, you will receive a pro rata invoice. This means you only pay for the remaining period of the current licence year.

Adding a new employee

As soon as you assign a top-up budget to a new employee in Payflip, a pro rata invoice is generated. You only pay for the remaining months until the next renewal date.

See also Article 7.2.1 — Subscription Extensions (“Additional Employees”) in our general terms and conditions. From the next renewal date onwards, the new number of employees is automatically used as the base for your annual invoice.

Adding a module

An additional module is also billed pro rata for the remaining period of the current licence year. From the next renewal date, the module is automatically included in your annual invoice.

Removing a module

Removing a module only takes effect at the next renewal date. You retain access to the module until the end of the current term.

💡 Notify us in writing at least 30 days before your renewal date, otherwise the module will be automatically renewed.
