Fresh off the press β¨
No more disappearing leavers in your reporting exports π
When you run a reporting export, you'll now see all employees, including those who are no longer active. A new "Payflip Status" column has been added to make it easy to distinguish active from inactive employees at a glance.
This is particularly useful when you need a full historical overview for accounting, audits, or offboarding reconciliations. No more cross-referencing separate lists, everything is in one export.

Legal update βοΈ
EU Pay Transparency Directive π
The EU Pay Transparency Directive comes into force on 7 June 2026.
The most immediately relevant obligation for HR admins: you must include a salary range or starting salary in every job posting, and asking candidates about their previous salary is no longer permitted.
Employees also gain the right to request information about their own pay and that of colleagues in equivalent roles.

Quick heads-up π‘
A new employee interface is coming next month β¨
Next month, we're rolling out a completely revamped employee web app. The new experience has been rebuilt from the ground up and will make it easier than ever for employees to browse and manage their benefits.
The rollout will happen gradually. As an HR admin, you don't need to do anything, your CSM will proactively reach out if your account needs any special attention during the migration.
We'll give you the full picture in the June newsletter, stay tuned. π

An employee with a bike lease is leaving, what happens to the lease?
Two things to keep in mind. The leasing provider handles everything related to the period after the end contract date, while Payflip ensures fair payment for the actual usage period in the exit calculation. Your only action: notify the leasing partner of the departure.
Got questions? Feel free to chat with our team, weβre happy to help!
Have a great day and see you in the next edition! π
