Are you downloading your .csv files from Payflip? Sometimes it's not so easy to convert them into a readable .xlsx file. Follow the steps below to format your files correctly.
Open a new Excel file
⚠️ Do not open the file you just downloaded from Payflip!
Import the .csv file
- Click on 'Data'
- 'Get Data'
- 'From File'
- 'From Text/CSV'
Click on 'Transform Data'
⚠️ Make sure the delimiter is set to 'Comma'.
This ensures that the cells are nicely split.
Remove 'Changed Type'
Click on the cross next to 'Changed Type'.
This ensures that Excel does not remove decimals from your file!
Click on 'Close & Load' at the top left
Your file is now ready for modifications!
