How can I modify my employee's salary data?

When the gross salary and/or working hours change, this has an impact on the calculation of the year-end bonus as a budget.

You can easily indicate any changes in the admin tool, which in turn will automatically modify the budget.

Click on Users on the left of the tool to view all tool users, and make sure you select employees (click on Role > Employee).

Click on the name of the employee for whom you wish to make changes and then click on Salary.

You now have an overview of this employee's salary.

Click on the Add new salary tab in the top right-hand corner. A new side screen opens. Enter the new data.

  • Gross salary = new gross monthly salary. This gross salary varies according to the employee's salary plan.

  • Work schedule = the number of hours the employee works per week. Indicated in hours:minutes.

Click on Save changes and the new history is added.

Changing a salary mid-year (part-time, raise, index). If start dates overlap you'll get an error. Use a start date of 02/01 (instead of 01/01) to avoid an overlap with the existing line.

Do I update the NSSO% (employer contribution) when uploading new salaries? Check with your social secretariat which % currently applies. You only need to set it once. You don't have to change it again if the NSSO% shifts slightly during the year (the impact is minimal). Uploaded the wrong NSSO%? Add the corrected salary with start date 02/01/2027 so it doesn't overlap.

Only the gross salary and corresponding work schedule currently in force are defined as active.

In the Budget tab, the Budget Balance and Total Budget amounts are automatically adjusted.
