Details about the benefit
Employees can convert their end-of-year premium and/or bonus budgets into the financially advantageous choice for warrants. 🤑
Withholding tax must be applied to the value of the warrants, but no social security contributions (13.07%). Optiniti ensures you receive the necessary payroll files after the sales period for the warrants is completed.
Maximum 20% of the employee's total annual salary can be converted into warrants. You need to verify this when the employee submits their choice.
Navigate in the Payflip admin tool to Company > Benefits > 'Warrants via Optiniti' and click on 'read more' for more concrete details.
Activation of the benefit
⚠️ This benefit is visible to all admins in the Payflip admin tool, but as long as the status is not set to active, your employees will not see anything.
1. Contact Optiniti
Learn about Optiniti's operations and the wonderful world of warrants by booking a meeting with Optiniti's warrant experts. You can find a link in the 'read more' section of the benefit (see above) to directly schedule a meeting in Optiniti's calendar.
During this meeting, Optiniti will explore the details and concrete timeline with you to offer warrants to your employees.
2. Finalize the partnership with Optiniti
Optiniti will ask you to sign a cooperation agreement.
Once this agreement is signed, Optiniti will provide you with your personal Optiniti customer ID. You'll need this to activate the benefit in Payflip.
3. Activate the benefit in Payflip
Navigate in the Payflip admin tool to Company > Benefits > Warrants via Optiniti and click 'activate'.
Enter the customer ID you received from Optiniti.
Enter the grant date of the next sales period.
💡 Tip: for the sales period that will take place in 2024, this will be 17/12/2024 for all clients.Enter the applicable service fee percentage.
💡 Tip: you can find this % in the cooperation agreement you signed with Optiniti.Indicate if you want to use the general terms and conditions system.
💡 Tip: this is the case for most of our clients. You can always check another benefit to see if this is activated there. If so, you may also activate this option for warrants.Indicate with which budgets your employees can make this choice.
Add the choice deadline.
💡 Tip: as a general rule, we recommend filling in two weeks before the grant date. If your budget in Payflip will close before this date, the choice for warrants will also close on the budget's closing date.
4. Inform your employees (together with Optiniti)
Time to make some buzz about it! Don't forget to inform your employees about this brand new benefit in your flex plan. 😉
Optiniti will gladly plan an information session with you, where all details about the warrant plan will be explained.

How does it work?

Afterwards, log in to the Payflip tool and look for the benefit 'warrants via Optiniti'. Enter the number of warrants you want to choose and voila, job done. A few days before the actual grant date, you will receive all necessary information and instructions from Optiniti to log in to their tOption platform.

After the choice period in Payflip ends, we ensure Optiniti receives all necessary information about the choices made. You don't have to do anything yourself! 🧘🏽♀️
A few days before the grant date, your employees receive all necessary information and instructions to log in to the tOption platform. Optiniti will also ensure you receive the correct files to process the choices properly in the payroll.
