The costs you can reclaim through Payflip are those incurred for taking care of your child outside normal school hours, during or outside school holidays.

There is no completely detailed list. Therefore, based on our experience, we have compiled the following list. Please note: this is likely to evolve over time!

Below is a non-exhaustive list of costs that may or may not be reimbursed through Payflip:

Costs for attending a youth movement camp (e.g., scouts, chiro)

Annual membership fees for a youth organization (e.g., scouts, chiro)

Registration fee for a sports camp (e.g., during the holiday) ⚽️

Costs incurred outside Europe

Registration fee for a holiday camp

Costs for a school trip (classe verte)

Registration fee for daycare

Membership fee for a sports club

After-school childcare through school

Music school membership fee

Boarding school fees

Private lessons linked to courses provided in the context of education (mathematics, French, sciences, etc.)

Private nanny not part of a recognized organization

➡️ Additional Info

  • Your child must be 18 years or younger at the time of the expense.

  • Your child must be a dependent.

    • ⚠️ A child is considered dependent on both parents, not just one. The only exception is if parents are separated and only one has claimed the child as a dependent.

  • You can claim up to 600 EUR per child per year.

  • Your expense must have been made within the European Economic Area (EEA).

  • There must be proof of payment from the institution where the child attends childcare.
